Commercial Air Duct Cleaning

The Process
Our technicians use a variety of methods to clean commercial air ducts as necessary, including the Viper Clean Sweep and the Viper Microline, the Roto-Brush, air-pressure washing, hand-vacuuming, and, if necessary, physically crawling through the ducts with a vacuum and dust-brush. Every component of the ventilation system is thoroughly cleaned, including the air handling units, fresh air intakes, variable air volume (VAV) boxes, supply and return ductwork, exhaust systems, and diffusers and grilles. All supply diffusers and return grates and grilles are removed, washed with degreaser, and reinstalled. It is essential that all HVAC components are thoroughly cleaned, as any remaining dirty components will re-contaminate the system as air is circulated throughout. Tarps are used to isolate the work area, and all debris is contained using an industrial collection system.
We also clean condenser coils, which work together with evaporator coils to provide cooling to multi-unit dwellings, such as apartments and assisted-living facilities.

Methods Used
Our technicians possess a diverse arsenal of tools to achieve the most effective cleaning in varied commercial HVAC environments. Air-pressure washing uses high-pressured air wands, air snakes, and a powerful compressor to dislodge debris, which is vacuumed into an industrial containment system. Rotary brushing uses a rotating brush that physically contacts the inside of the ductwork with its spinning bristles, dislodging debris and sending it toward the vacuum with the aid of air pressure. The Viper Clean Sweep and Microline systems are advanced air-duct cleaning methods that utilize air snakes with tentacles which, once engaged, thrash vigorously inside the ductwork, contacting every inch of the surface. Crawl-through involves the technician donning personal protective equipment (PPE) and, armed with a dust-brush and vacuum, physically crawling through the ducts to perform a thorough, hands-on cleaning.

"Very professional and thorough. Ben did a great job, the process was explained very well before, during and after. No mess was left behind. My coworkers all say they can tell the air is cleaner, our heating/air has much better flow and it runs for shorter times now. A large part of the staff was complaining about sinus issue while in the building but they all have less issues now. Would recommend to any business and even residential. Great job!"

"We are impressed beyond words! This is a luxury senior housing cooperative full of white carpets, and people who worry about them. No traces left of the work done, and the folks are already raving about the diminished amount of dust. Consideration and courtesy for each and every homeowner and their concerns was also of the highest order. It just doesn't get any better!"
